How Lizaz collects, uses and protects your personal data when you shop with Lizaz.
What we collect
- Your name, phone number, e-mail and delivery addresses.
- Your orders, invoices and loyalty points, and for business accounts your company name and GSTIN.
- Basic device and usage details (pages viewed, browser type) to keep the site working and secure.
- Online payments are handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your card number, CVV or UPI PIN.
Why we use it
- To take, pack and deliver your orders, and to send order updates and sign-in codes by SMS.
- To make GST invoices and keep the records tax and accounting laws require.
- To run your account, loyalty points and, if approved, your business account.
- To prevent fraud and keep the shop secure.
- To see which products people look at, so we stock the right things.
By creating an account or placing an order you consent to this use. We use your data only for these purposes.
Who sees it
Our staff and delivery riders see only what they need to pack and deliver your order. We share data with service providers that help us run the shop — payments (Razorpay), SMS, hosting and analytics — under contracts that oblige them to protect it, and with government authorities when the law requires. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep your account details while your account is open. Invoices and payment records are kept for as long as GST and accounting laws require, even after an account is closed. Other data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
- See a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct or update it — most details can be changed in your account.
- Ask us to delete it, except records the law requires us to keep.
- Withdraw your consent at any time; we may then be unable to serve some orders.
- Nominate someone to act for you in case of death or incapacity.
- Raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer, and then with the Data Protection Board of India.
Security and children
Your data is stored on secure servers and passwords are encrypted. Accounts are meant for adults (18 and over); we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change and show the new date of effect.
